Rhizome splitting was due and missed in the winter.

Planter boxes

For shrubs (probably bamboo) that will serve as a visual screen...

The foreground potted plant will go to the sideyard.

It was designed to minimize waste by cutting standard 2x6 fir (pressure treated for the bottom row) and redwood 8-foot pieces into equal thirds and fourths. Held together with deck screws.
